韩满对照〈五方元音〉的文字对译研究
민족의 접촉은 언어의 상호작용을 촉진하고 언어적 상호작용은 문자의 변이를 초래한다. 이러한 현상은 韓民族, 滿洲民族, 漢族의 접촉에서 일어났고 세 민족의 對譯에서도 쉽게 찾 아볼 수 있다. 그중에서 대중들에게 잘 알려지지 않은 韓滿對照<五方元音>이 대표적이라 할 수 있다. 이 책에서는 만주어로 중국어 발음을 표기한 내용을 다시 한국어로 轉寫하였다. 한국어로 전사하는 과정에서는 사라진 고대 문자를 차용한 상황도 있고 기존의 문자에 획수 를 추가한 상황도 있으며, 두 문자를 결합한 상황, 철자 구조에 어긋나는 상황, 모음조화 규 칙에 어긋나는 상황 등 다양한 양상을 보이고 있다. 한글의 전사에서 이런 변이가 일어나는 이유는 만주 문자 형태나 한자의 음에 의해 변화된 것으로 볼 수 있다. 결론적으로 〈오방원 음〉을 한글로 전사하는 과정에서 문자의 형태적인 표기보다 발음에 더욱 치중했다는 점을 알 수 있다.
A Study on Orthography Transferring among Hangeul, Manchu Script and Chinese Character in O-bang-won-eum
There are plenty of books on the transcription of Chinese, Manchu and Korean language, among which the most representative one is the O-bang-won-eum. On the perspective of the differences between transliteration and transcription, the Korean spelling of Manchu in O-bang-won-eum pays more attention to the transliteration of the characters in Manchu than the pronunciation. As a result, the Korean spelling of Manchu in O-bang-won-eum is a typical transliteration, rather than transcription. In addition, the Korean spelling of the main body and annotations in O-bang-won-eum are not identical. It is probably because the original Manchu text is recorded in the main body, and there is no need to make a further distinction in the Korean transcription. However, the annotations do not record the original Manchu text, and in order to avoid confusion, various symbols are added deliberately to the Korean transcription on the purpose of recognition.
