남북한 대 베트남 외교 담화에서 나타나는 태도 자원에 대한 긍정적 담화분석
본 연구는 한국과 북한이 대 베트남 외교 담화에서 보이는 태도 자원을 대조하여 긍정적 담화분석을 하는 데 목적을 둔다. 올해 한국은 한-베 수교 30주년을 맞이하여 베트남을 ‘포 괄적 전략적 동반자 관계’로 격상 추진 중인 중요한 시기에 들어섰고 북한은 북-베를 특수한 동지적 관계, 전략적 관계로 승화·발전시킨 역사적인 한 해에 들어섰다. 남북한 대 베트남의 활발한 교류 현황을 탐구하고자 평가어 체계 분석틀을 활용하여 UAM Corpus Tool과 AntConc 코퍼스 분석 수단으로 2017년~2022년에 발표된 한국과 북한의 베트남 관련 외교 보도를 연구대상 자료로 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 기반으로 남북한 평가 주체의 의제 분석, 태도 자원의 활용 빈도, 그리고 외교상 태도나 입장의 차이가 태도 자원을 통해 어떻게 구현 되는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 의제 분석에서 한국은 대 베트남 외교에서 ‘한-베’, ‘한-메 콩’, ‘한-아세안’ 등 관계에 관한 정치외교, 경제통상, 사회문화, 보건·의료 등 각 분야 의제 를 많이 다룬 것에 비해 북한은 베트남 사회주의 공화국, 베트남 공산당과의 친선협조 관계 등 의제에 관심을 더 기울였다. 태도 자원 활용에서는 남북한은 모두 감정평가>사물평가>행 위평가 경향을 보여주었다. 단, 남북한은 평가 대상에 따른 세부 자원의 활용 양상에서 상이 한 측면을 보였다. 또한 외교 담화에서 한국과 북한이 모두 긍정적 태도 자원을 사용하는 경 향이 강한 점을 확인하였으며, 각국 입장에서 베트남과 우호적인 관계를 유지하고 발전하는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
A Positive Discourse Analysis of Attitude Resources in North and South Korea towards Vietnam’s Diplomatic Discourse
This article aims to make a positive discourse analysis of the Diplomatic Discourse between North and South Korea towards Vietnam through the comparison of attitude resources. This article based on the analytical framework of appraisal theory, employs diplomatic reports related to Vietnam published by North and South Korea from 2017 to 2022 as corpus, by means of UAM Corpus Tool and AntConc, to analyse the topic setting of evaluation subjects in North and South Korea, the distribution characteristics of attitude resources and the differences of diplomatic positions and attitudes revealed by their resources. The results show that on the topic setting, South Korea often focus on political diplomacy, economic cooperation, social culture, health and medical care between “Korea-Vietnam”, “Korea-Mekong” and “Korea-ASEAN”, while North Korea pays more attention to the friendly and cooperative relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Communist Party of Vietnam. In the use of attitude resources, both South Korea and North Korea display the convergence characteristics, namely affect resources > appreciation resources > judgment resources. However, there are differences in the distribution characteristics of specific subordinate classification resources. In Diplomatic Discourse, both North and South Korea tend to adopt positive attitude resources to maintain and develop friendly relations with Vietnam from the standpoint of each country.
